Tested Beyond the Basics

Our children's furniture is independently tested to meet applicable U.S. safety requirements. We also put our kitchen towers through additional testing focused on how they're used in everyday life, including stability and tip-over, torque and tension, edges and fasteners, and pinch points.

Real wood, traced back to the forest

Inspired by Montessori principles, we choose real wood for its natural warmth, texture, and character. We work primarily with solid rubberwood and beech, each with its own natural grain and tone. What you see and feel is real wood, with its character running through the material rather than simply sitting on the surface. Our wood is FSC certified, supporting responsible forest management and traceable sourcing.

Fits at two. Still fits at six.

Children grow quickly, and their furniture should be able to keep up. Many myduckling pieces feature adjustable seat, platform, or footrest heights, allowing you to adapt them as your child grows. One thoughtful piece, designed to fit through more than one stage of childhood.
