Our Origin
How It Started
myduckling began in 2021, founded by a parent who wanted furniture their own children could truly use. Furniture that helped them climb up, reach the counter, and take part in everyday life at home. That simple idea still shapes everything we make today.

Your child's safety comes first. Our furniture is crafted from FSC-certified solid wood, finished with non-toxic, BPA-free and lead-free coatings, and independently tested to meet CPSIA and ASTM safety requirements. Our products are also CPC certified for added peace of mind.

Our children's furniture is independently tested to meet applicable U.S. safety requirements. We also put our kitchen towers through additional testing focused on how they're used in everyday life, including stability and tip-over, torque and tension, edges and fasteners, and pinch points.

Real wood, traced back to the forest
Inspired by Montessori principles, we choose real wood for its natural warmth, texture, and character. We work primarily with solid rubberwood and beech, each with its own natural grain and tone. What you see and feel is real wood, with its character running through the material rather than simply sitting on the surface. Our wood is FSC certified, supporting responsible forest management and traceable sourcing.
