👎🏼 I’ve been ghosted with a faulty tower 👎🏼

I wish this was a positive review, initially it was, shipping was incredibly fast, the tower arrived and aesthetically it is beautiful, but unfortunately as we assembled we noticed the holes were misaligned and therefore the tower does not fit together properly, so the whiteboard does not fit in and it doesn’t sit level. After back and forward emails trying to resolve it, I have been ghosted by “customer service”.. and left with a tower that we have locked in our bathroom so our toddler can’t climb in, the whole reason why I chose this tower was for the whiteboard to stop this.. not happy. Wish this could have been resolved and I could have left a positive review, but unfortunately I’m not a happy customer. Wouldn’t recommend this company.

Hi there, we completely understand how frustrating this experience has been, especially after you were initially so happy with your Learning Tower, and we’re deeply sorry for the disappointment this has caused.

We want to reassure you that your case has not been forgotten. We’re continuing to work with you directly towards a resolution and truly appreciate your patience while we get everything sorted for you. We look forward to having this resolved for you soon.

Incredible

Estamos simplesmente maravilhados com este produto! Minha bebê tem 12 meses e ama estar na torre. O material é de excelente qualidade, todas as bordas são arredondadas… vocês estão de parabéns!

Quality is nice, production accuracy is not

Quality of the wood is nicer than cheap alternatives, however the whiteboard is just too wide to slide into the intended grooves unless the side screws are loosened to the point that they are wobbly. For a product with a premium price I shouldn't need to shave a few mm off using tools at home for it to function as advertised.

Hi David,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are pleased to hear that you are happy with the quality of the wood, but we are sorry to hear about the issue you have experienced with the whiteboard.

Our customer service team has reached out to you regarding this matter and would be happy to assist further. Before making any modifications or DIY changes to the product, please get in touch with us so we can help resolve the issue for you.

Amazing customer service

Amazing customer service, very responsive.
Great product ,but unfortunately i had a factory issue but the team solved in in no time
Highly recommend them
Thank you

Game changer!

Worth it 1000% has given us so much freedom to multitask with bub by our side instead of on our hip or crying at our ankles. Watching her draw for the first time with the chalkboard was very special too.

Great but has flaws

This tower is excellent, the build quality is second to none. However our toddler loves to climb and the side cutouts and front cutout present a bit of a safety concern. They act as steps, making it easy for little ones to either climb onto a bench or accidentally fall from the side. While close supervision helps manage the risk, it does somewhat defeat the purpose of freeing up your hands, and accidents take split seconds. If there was a model that had solid sides all around I would purchase that knowing what I know now.

Lola Deluxe Learning Tower

The tower is exactly as displayed on the website. It is very stable when assembled, and the wood is very beautiful. The black/white board is a great addition to keep my toddler occupied.

This product is lovely. Very easy to put together. Arrived promptly. Even has some spare bolts if needed in future

Great quality

My 15month old loves this. Great quality, great size, she will get a lot of use out of it I think!

Great quality!!

Beautiful quality and love that it’s safe materials. Came in perfect packaging and the instructions were so easy to assemble. Came with a few extra screws and all in a nice fabric bag. I would definitely recommend this over an amazon one, i feel so much better knowing about the product materials and where it comes from. For sure worth the extra money.

We love this learning tower.

It's great quality product. I bought it for his first birthday but it shins now. My boy is 17month old now and insists to do everything by himself. It's sturdy and safe for my boy to climb up. He loves to see me cooking on this learning towerin the kitchen. Great product!

Love it and so easy to put together

My baby loves it and the magnetic board is a great extra

Love it! Grandson so enjoys being involved during dinner preparation, etc

Excellent quality

Overall excellent quality for price. Can’t wait until my little boy is big enough to use it

Good learning tower

After nearly six months of searching for the perfect learning tower and comparing countless brands, I finally chose LOLA—and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. It checks all the boxes: safety, ease of maintenance, durability, and practicality. My 1-year-old daughter now loves spending time with us in the kitchen. Thank you, My Duckling!

Climbing risk

Great in some respects but too easy for toddler to climb from platform onto bench due to cut outs.

Hi Sarah,

We are so sorry to hear that you have the safety concerns with our learning tower. We totally understand your concerns and children's movements are sometime unpredictable, therefore our learning towers are designed to use under an adult's supervisioin at all times when a toddler is on the tower. Warm Regards,
Team My Duckling

Love it!

My 15 month old really did not know what to do with this when we first got it he just wanted to get off haha but after about a week, he's absolutely loving it! I pop him in there and give him some fruit while I make breakfast and he loves being involved. We've bought him some kid-safe knives and baking utensils so I can't wait to try those out in the learning tower! :-)

Baby’s favourite thing

This learning tower has been amazing for us. We were looking for one for a while but wanted it to be adjustable height. 14mo took about a day to figure out how to get in herself. Now whenever we turn around she’s in it! So much easier to make food, do dishes etc., because now she can be involved. She does rock it back and forth, so glad we got the heavier option of solid wood. It also looks much nicer than the cheaper brands, and quite compact too. Definitely worth the money for the amount of use and safety.

Looks lovely - really solid piece of kit and well made. Not in any way unstable and feels secure.

Since she is younger ( only 12 months ) - can’t be left alone near it as she can’t climb inside yet as not much room when have the standing piece at higher height - so just climbs up the outside and hangs off it in a dare devil manner. Will be brill when she is a bit older and the standing piece can be moved lower.

Super quality

Such a well made sturdy learning tower. We chose this one because we have a very wobbly toddler who is not able to stand independently yet and felt this pme was a great safe steady option for her. The white board has been a great addition to keep her locked in, stop any unsupervised climbing and also engages our 4 year old with some colouring! Highly recommended

Hi quality product.

Well made, easy to assemble.

LOLA deluxe solid wood

The lola deluxe tower is good. It’s well made, and good quality material.we got the wood one. Son is able to move around. Unsure that’s a good thing. Still climbs on the gaps but he will hopefully get over that soon. The whiteboard is a great addition.

Very happy with the process and delivery. Extremely happy with the product. Our grandson loves the learning tower.

LOLA DELUXE

Love how sturdy it is and well made. I have just ordered another one

Is the LOLA Kitchen Tower adjustable?

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the LOLA Deluxe Solid Wood Kitchen Tower?

This toddler tower is built from thick 0.71 inch solid rubberwood, giving it a heavier, steadier feel than plywood. It raises your child to counter height so they can help cook, wash, and join in at the counter, with a two-sided drawing board included.

What are the platform sizes and heights?

The standing board sets at two heights, 18.6 or 14.5 inches from the floor, and measures a generous 15.4 by 11.8 inches. That extra depth gives little feet more room than many towers, and the frame stands 35.4 inches tall overall.

What can my child do with the drawing board?

The removable board has a magnetic whiteboard on one face and a chalkboard on the other. Your child can draw with chalk, wipe clean, then switch sides for dry-erase markers, magnetic letters, and tiles, so creative play carries on after cooking wraps up.

Which ages suit the LOLA Deluxe?

It fits children from 12 months to 6 years. Two rear safety rails add enclosure at the back, and we suggest keeping the second rail on for children under 39.4 inches. As your child gets taller, lower the platform to keep them at a comfortable height.

How much weight does the LOLA Deluxe hold?

The platform is rated to 220 pounds, and at roughly 15 to 18 pounds the solid wood frame sits heavy and planted. Four removable side stabilizers and reinforced rear support broaden the base, so it stays firm when your child leans in to reach the counter.

Is the LOLA Deluxe safe and non-toxic?

Yes. It wears a clear, water-based protective varnish that is non-toxic, BPA-free, and lead-free, with smooth rounded corners throughout. The tower is tested to CPSIA and ASTM safety requirements, and the two rear rails hold younger children snugly at the counter.

Is the solid wood LOLA worth it over the plywood LOLA?

If you want a sturdier build and a two-sided board in the box, yes. The lighter plywood LOLA kitchen tower shares the same two-height layout and a single magnetic board, and it is easier to carry, so the choice comes down to weight and budget.

How do I care for the solid wood?

Wipe it with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry it, steering clear of alcohol-based or abrasive cleaners. Store it in a cool, dry, well-ventilated spot and leave it uncovered, letting the natural rubberwood breathe so its grain and finish stay in good shape.

Will the wood grain look exactly like the photos?

Each tower is cut from natural rubberwood, so slight shifts in color, grain, and texture are normal from one piece to the next. These marks are part of real wood rather than faults, and they give every LOLA Deluxe its own character.

What pairs well with the LOLA Deluxe?

For a second helper, the JALA Deluxe solid wood kitchen tower offers three heights and a stool that doubles as a step. To weigh up other platforms, stools, and finishes, browse the full kitchen tower collection and compare them side by side.
